Anterior

refer to what is in front (from Latin ante, meaning "before") 



Distal

refer to what is further away from body 



fascia

is layers, band or sheet of connective tissue, primarily collagen, beneath the skin that attaches, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs.



medial

refers to close to center or middle.



myofascial adhesion

is adhesion between layers of muscles and fascia which caused by lack of mobility and lack of inter layers fluid of body



myofascial adhesion release


is adhesion release between layers of muscles and fascia

myofascial release

is a technique to release muscles and fascia tightness




lateral

refers to side, further from center as in "left lateral" and "right lateral".



Posterior

refer to what is to the back of the subject (from Latin post, meaning "after") 



Proximal

refer to what is closer to the body 



ROM

is abbreviation of "Range of Motion"

Lactococcus lactis

  Lactococcus lactis is a Gram-positive bacterium used extensively in the production of buttermilk and cheese, but has also become famous as the first genetically modified organism to be used alive for the treatment of human disease. L. lactis cells are cocci that group in pairs and short chains, and, depending on growth conditions, appear ovoid with a typical length of 0.5 - 1.5 µm. L. lactis does not produce spores (nonsporulating) and are not motile (nonmotile). They have a homofermentative metabolism, meaning they produce lactic acid from sugars.
